From the owners private collection this is a 1994 Centennial Master Built Gibson L-5
This centennial year example comes from the early days of the Gibson Custom Shop, where Master Builder Terry Ryan was responsible for most of the higher end electric archtop production.
This L-5 CES has all of the period features of the early 50s rounded Venetian cutaway, and gorgeous 5-piece Figured Maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard. A carved Spruce top complete with a gorgeous carved Figured Maple back and sides is finished in a beautiful Blonde that has aged very nicely to a slightly darker amber hue. Comes with a Centennial (Glove Leather) Hardshell Case.
